DSPUK
The intro on this was part of a film I think in late 70's - Was a group of blokes going upriver to canoe down but they bumped into some Hillbillies. Dave As replies it is Deliverance - just needed to look at a few more of clips. Edited April 15, 2012 by DSPUK

steve_b_wales
Deliverance is a alltime classic!I also liked Southern Comfort! I have to agree. Deliverance is a classic, and I too, enjoy Southern Comfort, but not with too much lemonade. NB. Southern Comfort is available on Play.Com, as is Deliverance. humperdingle
NB. Southern Comfort is available on Play.Com Yeh, that's where I got mine When I looked for it, I was surprised it wasn't available for £3 or £4 new... Just checked, and it's there for £8 used or from £23 new  Mine was 'used', from an associated seller, but looked new when I got it. Ricko
Deliverance was written by James Dickey, he appears in the film as the sheriff who 'questions' the city boys at the end of the voyage. He was an American poet and writer, the book is more graphic than the film.
