chippy18
Normally there for practice and race week but missing a bit this year and don't get there till Wednesday 30th because of a wedding. Always a great time we have been staying in the same place for about the last 10 years. If you are in to Bikes it is the dogs nags. Gentle journey up on the bike for me this year as dodgy collarbone Cheers
gixer1
Yup, best place in the world for bikes, I intend to start going over again when the kiddies are up a bit... This is me at black hut in 2007 at the centenary, absolutely fantastic, although of it rains it can be a bit bad for biking but them the drinking starts.... I've been lucky enough to have met both Joey (yer maan) and Robert on a number of occasions...a sad loss to Motorsport IMHO.

Still coming to terms not being able to get any land for love nor money. TT is awesome island comes alive and is literally a month long festival. Best thing of all is there is no maximum speed limit! Knee down Gixer....nice pic.. :good: that would have made a funny joke if I was....but no, 'tis I on the bike, also got a pic of me and another forum member on the same corner and I reckon there's no more than a foot or two between the bikes - amazing how you concentrate on other things at 145mph!!! shame it's not more of a recognised event in the sporting calendar... We sat on a wall and watched Bruce Anstey pass at a shade over 200mph ....that is phenomenal to see! Regards, Gixer
DSPUK
Went in 1964 with my mates on my T110 and again in 1979 with Mrs's on Suzuki 550gt-- Had a better crossing in 79 than 64 - I think everyone came up on deck at some time to puke. - You would have thought they would have built a tunnel or bridge by now. gixer1
One thing I'll say is it's easily the best police force I've ever encountered - the laws and life in general is kinda an example of what Britain should be like! Great people and one of the years we were the was 2006 and it was I think the hottest year on record, it was like being in Spain! Stunning! BangBangNik
Love The iom. What a lovely place, scenery, weather( both lovely and wild) and very little crime, nobody seems to lock their doors or even close them when going out, a real strange concept for us mainland dwellers. Las time I was at the tt guy Martin did this Got mY fingers crossed for his first tt victory this year as he is a top guy(no pun) and of course for a safe two weeks for all involved.
