I recently bought a standard Fenman, not the Profile; for £250. This came complete with a Hawke 4 x 40 scope & soft gunslip. I had been looking around for some months before I came across this one which was fairly close to home. I would suggest in the region of £250 to £300; you may get a bit more if someone out there has set his heart on that particular model. You would expect to pay a bit more through a shop, but they have to earn a crust & pay VAT on the profit if they have taken the gun in on a P/X.

Without reading any of the other replies i can tell you that the fenman is as you said very sought after and is frankly awesome. If youve got a chance get it and keep it looking nice because after years of shooting it you may find that the value of when of them in mint condition has multiplied.

Go for it you wont regret it!

Not saying this to ruffle feathers but in my opinion Theoben guns are so, so overpriced.

I'm not saying over rated just over priced.

Ridiculous.

Well yes on looking at the catalogue they are a bit pricey. The point is you get a very accurate gun and probably get what you pay for but im no expert on this point. The real winner for me was it was secondahand at £300 for a bog standard theoben but after meeting the owner and sighting it, and buying it, i went straight down to a permission which i had shot on for about a year with 1 (yes 1!) kill. On that night i increased my record by 300% in a half an hour mooch so i was chuffed. They are expensive i wont tell you otherwise but for me it was cheaper than the s200s i was looking at and a lot cheaper than getting all the kit to go with it.

The only thing i dont understand about the gun is the silencer. Its great and can hardly be heard from any range. But then youve got the impact noise and more importantly the recocking noise which is like a herd of elephants walking through a bubble wrap factory. Why did they bother?

Hi again fellow bird blasters ,ive actually got this fenman profile which i should of mentioned in my last post,i was actualy thinking of selling it as it did not get used as much as i liked but,all this talk of selling it has inspired me to get out more with it,so off i went to my local shop to get it on the chrono, only to be told its shooting best part of 13ft/lbs with 16grain crow stoppers ,so ive left it with him to knock it down a touch, get it back week monday and then its time to go pigeon blasting with it,as opposed to the price of which they are selling for = i was having a waffle to the guy at the shop about it and he said they are very rare so he said your looking around 400 to 500 sheets depending on scope and general condition but even he advised me not to sell it,some people have written on the above post about geting a profile for £250 if you can get 1 for this the person who would be selling it would not know what there doing or they are just a general plant pot
