Mr Potter
Evening all, As posted a week ago I have an autographed England Rugby Union shirt (signed by England and Leicester Tigers star, Tom Croft) which I am going to auction for the 2012 PW charity, Different Strokes. This is an official 2011/12 England team shirt, O2 , red rose & Nike tick symbol on a white short sleeved shirt size M. It is plain on the back (no number) and Tom Croft has signed it on the front. The shirt is un-mounted i.e. not in a frame. I have had a quick think, which hurt a bit so I did the wise thing and stopped! but decided to try and get the most money for the charity by having an open auction on this thread. So, if you want the shirt, post a price on this thread and the highest bid at midnight on Wednesday 30th May will win the shirt. I will post it out 1st class (signed for delivery) or will bring it to Orston on the 2nd of June if the winning bidder is also going to the charity shoot. The winner can pay the money via. Just Giving and will leave it up to them if they Gift Aid it. (I would) In the original post about this, Bakerboy started the bidding at £20 but I was talking about this in the office today and a colleague upped the ante with a bid of £40. So come on PW rugby fans dig deep and lets see what we can raise. Mr Potter PS If a female PW member wins the auction I will, at no additional cost, offer a fitting service! Mungler
Get a piccy up. Sex it up a bit by getting it modelled by Carol Vorderman.
Mr Potter
Get a piccy up. Sex it up a bit by getting it modelled by Carol Vorderman. And you think I'd sell it after it had been stretched over two of England's finest assets although these are still someway behind Suzanne Reid's (It's a wonder I ever get to work on the mornings she's on BBC Breakfast) Will try and post a picture tomorrow if Son of turns up and gives this old Luddite a crash course in IT. Mr Potter
Thanks to Tam for doing the technical bit for me, I really must get to grips with this sort of stuff, I've heard that even some girls can do this now :o :o :o Anyhow the photo, unfortunately the terms of my combined ASBO and restraining order prohibit me from taking photographs of real women even ones with shirts on. I did consider trying to hang the shirt in front of the telly when Susanna Reid was on to make it look like she was wearing it but (i) the telly is too small and (B) the bust line just didn't look natural. So flat on the dining table it was with me standing on a chair, me getting down from the chair, rooting round for new batteries for the camera, back up to take photo. Rooting round for a further 5 minutes finding the camera USB lead, uploading photo to PC and starting to think this IT lark is a piece of p**s. Knew I had to re-size the photo to be able to post it on the forum so spent 40 minutes trying to do that when I got the pm from Tam offering to help Well petethegeek can breathe a sigh because I was just about to pm him asking for help Anyway here it is, hope it's what you expected and generous as fruity's bid is remember it's all for charridee so get bidding - 28 hours to go. Mungler
If I win I'll do the payment through Just Giving and lump the gift aid tax back thing on top Although technically that makes it non gift aid. If HMRC catch up with me I'll tell them Mr Potter made me and said it would be alright and that he would cover the fine. Mr Potter
BUMPBUMPBUMPBUMP Last chance to put a bid in for this attractive item, there's not a wife or girlfriend in the land who wouldn't look good in this shirt! (There that's made you think hasn't it ) Just over 4 hours to go till the auction closes so get bidding. Welsh, Irish or Scottish fans, why not bid on this and have the satisfaction of depriving an English fan seeing his missus wearing the shirt. GOOD LUCK Potter

Mungler
All sorted. I asked Cranfield to sort the payment for me through the Just Giving Website. I haven't checked but I assume it's been done by now.
