i have done a few of these on the pigeons, and they are quite good. pack a punch but good.

No.8`s don`t pack a punch,however they will ***** as a 36gm load has 562 shot in it.I wouldn`t fancy eating anything shot closer than 20yds :/

they will *****

is this a new word for blown to bits ??? , if you have used them you would know, :lol:. for pigeon bashing from the hide these are good. get a box and try them.as for eating them, fur and feather is not allowed in the gate by her who must.

BE OBEYED :yahoo::good::good::beer:

If you chop it open and measure the size of the shot, you will find there NO#7 . I use the same ones and HAWKEYE (the one with the big feet) will back me up on this .Was also told this by shop owner, so had to make sure .

Less of the big feet you pillock

HD they are german 8 which is the same as english 7 and i have been useing them for the last 4 months the pigeons and crows ive come across dont like them.... :beer::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Over 600 crows on one farm since middle of june useing these only £96 per 1000. :friends::drinks:

Hawkeye - I agree they will kill but they will also ***** a lot of birds too.

BTW - german 8`s are UK 7.5`s(.09")

A numerical or letter(s) designation indicating the average diameter of a pellet. With numerical designations, the average pellet diameter may be determined as follows: Shot Size = (17 – Number Designation)/100 For example, for No. 6 shot: (17-6)/100 = 0.11†17 - Designation Number = Avg. Shot diameter in hundredths of an inch 100 EXAMPLE: For No. 10 Shot: 17-10 = 7/100 = .07â€

You beat me to it Henry,

There isn't a person alive who has shot and killed a goose at 60yds with a shotgun. I very much doubt if you would do it with a heavy load of SG's.

I think it is totally irresponsible to be shooting at anything at this sort of range with a shotgun. At best you will only wound it.

Cheers
