Browning Cynergy Views

Having just returned my 682 Gold E (sold a left hand cast stock!) I picked up a cynergy in the shop and was tempted. I could get another 682 but I was thinking about saving a few quid instead.

I've seen a few Cynergys on here for about £1k and just wondered how people who had or do own one get on? I know they marmite on looks but how do they shoot?

A syndicate member brought his sons 'black ice' model to a shoot last season. It was the first time I'd handled one as I'd discounted them because of their looks, but I was very impressed. The rubber(?) stock is very tactile, the balance was superb, and it came up no effort whatsoever.Very, very nice.If I was in the market for a dedicate clay gun I think it would be a serious contender.

I had a few shots once with one of those Black Ice things.

What a horrible, cheap and nasty piece of garbage that was, after using a proper gun.

It felt like it would fall apart in my hands, I couldn't wait to give it back <_<

I believe the wooden ones are a bit better, at least they feel like guns, not some BB toy.

I really wanted one until i shot it (Black Ice) who ever sold you the LH stocked 682 is a double fool........

There are soem "wood" and some fake/laminate "wood" stocks on the cynergy so be careful when comparing the hogs back models with the inflex adjustable stocks are worth a look but there are some trap models and game with none adjustable stocks some also have ported barrels

I paid 1280 for the 682, about 10 years old. Give Eastern Sporting in Chelmsford a call, I'm sure they'll be glad to move it now they know!

I have had two both inflex sporters one 30" and a 32" both gone now shoot a 682 gold e.

Good build quality but feel heavy and ponderous compared to beretta, also when they wear and they do like all guns they are very hard to rejoint the action. Every gun shop I tried to part ex mine into didn't want it. The composite sells better was the reply. If your set on a browning stick to the conventional action.

The new 725 has the same slim profile as the cynergy but conventional knuckles :hmm:

The two loud ones are shocking pink and acid yellow.

Figgy

Thats why I prefer a normal Browning, I find the 725 is too much like a Beretta, too slim and feels flimsy, but each to their own I suppose

:shaun:
