Are pigeon shooters dangerous drivers?

Pigeon shooters must spend a lot of time looking into farmers fields rather than at the road when they are driving especially at this time of year when pigeon shooting is approaching 'fever pitch'.

Does this mean that they can be classified as dangerous drivers in the countryside?

oh so true, especially in this heat

Not myself you understand, as I am a married man, but I've seen other people gawping out of every window in their car expect the windscreen.

No more than city dwellers leching at the girls in short skirts.

Gentlemen, my question was rhetorical I must admit but it didn't take very long for the responses to veer wide of the mark.

Here's the converse. If I asked a townie whether or not he drove dangerously when he was passing the entrance to a girls school at home time would he say that he drove no more dangerously than those country people looking for pigeons?

fair comment pal, only a bit of the old pw banter. you make a valid point in you original post. i think we all sub consiously look for pigeons whilst driving all the year round. it could however be classed as driving without due care and seen to be just as bad as talking on the mobile whilst driving. we should resist the temptation to look while driving and pull over and use the bino's :good:
