poults with no heads in sight

Recommended Posts

check the hole in your pen for hair that mite help a fox can get in a very small hole . tawny owl will take the heads of . are there any teeth marks on the birds you can some times smell a fox on the dead birds

I would be very suprised if a hedgehog could catch and kill 28 pheasants in a night though...?

I would agree with a tawny owl, 28 is though excessive. Charlie would take some of the kills out through the fence leaving a trail of feathers.

I have seen a fox slip easily through a 4 inch square mesh on some sheep fencing, he came to my call and I nailed it.

Might be a case of sitting and watching with a couple of tools to hand.
