How to age a fox?

I shot one this morning in my back garden and checking it over it was a massive vixen but looked "cubbish". I was anal enough to weigh it as it was next to my shed with my fishing tackle in, so used my scales. It weighed 20lb. Easily the biggest vixen I personally have ever seen. She was in immaculate condition with a huge bushy tail.

My question is as this is too big to be this year's litter, could it be last year's, or do they take longer than that to grow to this size?

I would have thought if she was much older, she would have had the odd battle scar, but she was mint.
