Now all the wheat has been cut we thought we would get out and have a watch yesterday morning all the gear was packed dogs loaded up so we head off about half nine. we got there not much about but the usual flight lines were trickling so we ended up setting up about 1 we had about 10 in 1st hour then by 2 oclock the started from every direction they decoyed superb we had a great day apart from fentiger missing afew lol only joking dad. so we ended the day with one hundred and ten shot picked one hundred and four. dogs worked well mines only 12 months so his sencond time in the hide he did good. off out now might have to dodge the rain so will update update you guys later...post-59822-0-30790600-1347786313_thumb.jpg

good shooting mate wot size cartriages yu use and du yu use same ones all time :hmm::good::good:

orite matty, we used 32 gram 6,s kent velocity, they were top amo for the price, but they stopped makeing em, so me and driller mainly use clay amo with full chokes to be honest, if were flighting it is bettter with 32 gram stuff, just reaches out that bit more....

cheers mate so yu think 6 s reach further out than 7.5 s just got into pigeon shooting so learning all the time

ye definately ,if you shoot em with 7,s the birds seem clean with not much blood, a 6 has a bit more range but hits em that bit harder, then 5,s may be even more range,to be honest stick with a 30 or 32 gram 6 load you wont go wrong,
