I was talking to a friend who's on the committee organising the show today, all I know for sure is there is no clay shoot this time although it had been advertised.

Shame really as the clayshoot used to be a good one when it was organised by the Rifle & Pistol Club a few years ago on the land over the road from the showground.

I understand there will be a 'have a go' stand, but that's it i'm afraid.

Called through today for a look around, upon arrival we paid £8 each for two adults and £3 for the little one which we were a bit disappointed with as in the local paper the prices were advertised at £6 and £2 respectively, but not the end of the world :shifty:

The fair was fairly small and not up to much to be honest, hopefully will be better next year and with a clay shoot on rather than just a have a go stand :hmm:

The gun dog scurry was busy and for me was the best part of the day :good:

If I didn't spend some time watching the retrieving we could have been around the whole lot in less than an hour :(

just back in from the show not too big, did everything 3 times was there 4 hrs nice chap on the have a go stand "did have 10/10 though :innocent: ",£10.00 for 10 birds, food a bit overprised no 1/4 burger is worth £4.00 "tight yorkshireman" good bargains to be had on the clothes stands and pigeonshooter stall and other various stalls ,scurrying and demos by kirkbourne gundogs highlight of the day cost for 2 adults and 2 kids was £22.00 was a bit dissapointed with the size but have really enjoyed it,another point to make is that there are plenty of toilets and are all clean, groundstaff very helpful ,"get your hand stamped if you walk over to the clay stand" as its in a seperate field they do this at the admission stand, hope this helps anyone deciding to go tommorow..... :good: ......

Not too bad a day out.Though i did buy weekend tickets in advance and for the weekend it has cost me £10.There are bargains to be had if you look around especially if your after camo gear. There was some cheap footwear if anyone needs some winter gear.Plenty going on with gun dog demonstrations and birds of prey etc.

Not too bad for a first game fair and hopefully it will be bigger and better next year. :good:
