I'll ask you once again Dennis. Can I, as a BASC member shoot clays for my county or country?

Dennis,

You have posted twice since Poontang raised this question,

Just wondered why you keep avoiding the question, you seem to have an answer for everything else,

As for calling Phil "a bitter twisted old man" sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.

Give Poontang an answer!!!

And Poontoon can shoot for his country or county being a basc member as long as he is in the cpsa as well.........Years ago you could shoot CPSA major events and not be in the CPSA, but the insurance system changed that, you may be able to shoot on the day and get a pass.

I have always reckoned the CPSA should have a shop window event to display its wares, if it was me i would target every BASC member that shoots clays, i would make our magazine for all shooters, game , clays and rough....But then i am a buisnessman, i wouldn't understand a gentlemans agreement not to poach members from other organisations......The British Open should be just that an open event for allcomers.

The thing is Dennis I'm not a CPSA member so cannot benefit from shooting registered shoots, which I believe you have to shoot to progress in the sport.

As I receive no benefits from the CPSA I'm sure you'll understand why I wouldn't want any of my BASC subs being used to fund that particular organisation?

Surely even you can see that Dennis?

Being a genious has always had its communication problems Gordon, its one thing having the right message , its quite another convinicing others you are right, somehow the rights and wrongs get lost in the translation. I do get the message accross from time to time. Do you really think i thought for one minute that the E Petition would get the support from shooters.....don't be silly i'm relying on other means, on the face of it, it could be viewed as a good move to support for the anti gun lobby ....I don't really know, but we will see, there is a long way to go.....A longggggggggggggg longgggggggggg way.

There are the odd snippets from Dennis that make sense, but there's a lot of background noise and too many ghosts.

I recognise that even if Dennis did actually come up with a plan for world peace and the reform of the CPSA, all the people he slighted in the past would line up to deride him.

At the same time I recognise the odds of Dennis coming up with a plan for world peace and the reform of the CPSA is at least a gazillion to one..... and then some

Dennis - modesty prevents me from pointing out that my genius is clearly well in excess of yours.

I think you need to get your rather limited genius to work on this piece on meaningless claptrap. It doesn't make any grammatical sense. No change there then.
