I have seen a rubberised one like a load bed liner paint that is brushable but I can't find it now ?? Or can you advise anything plus it would keep the noise down inside cab ?? walshie
I don't know about rubberised paint, but I used hammerite on the floor of my disco after it was welded.

ditchman
if you want to keep the noise levels down try this........... find a supplier of riveted floor mat, think its made from old tyres...cut and lay it on the floors then cover with coconut/copra/coire matting cut from the roll...the reason you lay the open rubber matting is for airspace when the l/r leaks, so the coconut matting dosnt get wet...... bugman
You can get some spray on load liner, helps with sound a little but makes it heavy duty when throwing stuff in the back etc. Think its called Speedliner, its designed for pick up beds etc.

four-wheel-drive
You cannot beat a few coats of white mat emulsion just a thought could you put underseal on it that dries quite hard and would not get scratched. bobt
try garage floor paint, makes a nice job, for soundproofing add rubber mats, not felt as it WILL get wet.
kent
How bad does the welding look? you dont want it giving way in use ( i have seen weld failures in decent looking welds at times, due to lack of adequate penetration and lamination of marerials) it aint funny if a floor of a car gives way in use
