I've had several hundered, up to maybe 500ish, pinks passing 200 or so yards from my house for the last week. This morning they were heading towards where they have been feeding and suddenly turned and came straight over where i was stood in the garden about 60 yards about. Wasn't it an over and under and he fired both barrels at the one goose? If you only clip it with the first shell it's very unlikely to come down without another shot.
