Good evening all,

The fore end on my semi auto keeps coming loose after around 15-20 shots as the screw cap on the end unwinds itself.

Has anybody else ever experienced this problem and if so is there anything i can do about it? its really starting to get on my tits now!

ATB Tom.

The gun is a remmington versa max and its has barely fired a thousand shots. Thing is it has been cleaned thoroughly after every use regardless of how many cartridges it gets through it so surely it shouldnt have worn out by now?

Also what grease would you recommend?

Try some Threadlock or a blob of weld. that should stop it coming loose!

Take it back to the dealer, let Edgar Bros. repair it.

Just seen the posts on the forum and it has exactly the same problem as mine. sounds like its to do with the old cap so il take it to the dealer and ask them to order me the new parts.

Considering the gun was brought new, this should be done free of charge shouldnt it?

Of course it should, according to the advertisments you have a three year warranty.
