NorfolkAYA
Hi all, Just see a franchi 712 s/a for sale so very nearly brought it. Scully
Nephew once had one(bought by me as he was too young at the time),very underated in my opinion.Back then they were part of the Beretta stable;don't know if they still are.Very good guns. andy_s
I bought one last week and so far I can't fault it. Seems to cycle everything fine and soaks up the recoil from the 50g cartridges I've used very well. It's quite long even with 28" barrels but that's what you get with semi auto's. I even had to take the carpet out of my cabinet to get it to fit it properly.
stu nesling
long time user of that gun, cant fault it! when a keeper had it for 6 months and didn't want to give it back speaks volumes. needs a clean more than a recoil gun but so what, how many people just put a gun away after using it? rotating bolt system, alloy receiver, gas semi auto made with benelli parts. the 391 etc is way behind it. sorry iam a fan..... Fisheruk
I have an old Franchi never jambs, great gun. Very simple and doesn't need careful cleaning after every outing. Imo better than the gas operated s/a's.
