Hi all i need to get an aftermarket trigger kit for my CZ as its currently got the factory trigger and its around a 5lb pull and I want to tighten my groups a little more. Anyone recommend a certain brand? Did look at rimfire magics trigger @ £12 and the Yo Dave is £18.

Thanks all

Lewis

Forget the trigger kits ,buy a Timney trigger unit instead ! Far superior and worth every penny.

Mine are done with Brooks and I'm more than happy, for the considerable extra money I hope they are better with a Timney!!

All down to personal choice and the depth of your pocket!!!

CZ don't make target tools so Brooks, Yodave, Rimfiremagic, whatever, at £10-£15 are perfectly acceptable for field use for me!

The Timney is about £115, but good quality. It will need some stock alterations to fit as it comes as a complete unit with sideplates. The 22LR version is different to the HMR version.

Weihrauch and Anshutz make superb trigger kits. They come free with every rifle.

Get what you like and spend what you like! :good: :good:

Yep, loads of money and work for a Timney, and if you want that sort of performance and are prepared to spend that sort of money I'm not quite understanding why you don't buy a "better" gun all round to start with!

The CZ are hunting/field tools, they will all do that well enough with the standard trigger, yes, some are not nice, and for some reason the HMR and WMR tend to be worse that the .22lr, but the trigger kits bring another dimension. Frankly they are the best £10-£15 you will ever spend on any rifle.

The kits are plenty good enough in my book, and does it really matter on a rabbits head if the Timney "MAY" move the group from 0.3 to 0.25".

CZ are not target tools!

ATB! :good:

I agree with you, but a bloke at the rifle club bought the wrong one for his 22LR and was selling it at a good price, so I thought "why not ?". The CZ trigger, although quite useable, is not up to the quality of the barrel.

Exactly! As far as I`m concerned the only rifle that tops my CZ + Timney is a Match 54 actioned Anschutz.

They cost a LOT more than the CZ + Timney combination !Lovely rifles tho`,far superior to the overpriced cheap Anschutz models.
