lakeside1000
I make my own floaters very similar to the one shown, just take a full bodied decoy, fit foam wings and tail, find balance point, like triming a model plane, and mount to rod with a pivoted mount on the balance point, so the decoy can rise and fall on the wind like a model glider, add weight to the head or tail to get the balance exactly right, not easy but very effective. Im impressed by the flappers, will make that my next project to try to reproduce, very interesting shape.

Mr pigeon
I have the Hypa flaps on my whirlybird until I get dead birds. I also have Hypa flaps on terminator Hypa flap rods. These are the absolute business in my opinion. Not used top ones but people seem to say they are good. Hope that helps!
Grazy
Just took delivery of two of Hawkeye's floaters. Yet to shoot with them but will be setting them up in the field behind the house to see if they draw any in. They look well made. I certainly wouldn't want to make 2 for £
mag357
Hawkeye and I make floaters like CG but we use flocked bodies, discounted to PW members.See Hawkeye's signature on here. Hypa flaps work well when no wind but we prefer floaters on windy days.
