What is it proofed for? I would drop it in to a GOOD gun shop and they should be able to check it with a bore gauge very quickly.

Take it apart and have a look at what is stamped on the 2 flat surfaces on the underneath of both barrels.

You must have fired it as it kicks like a mule…..!!

  1. You put heavy rounds in a light gun…..

  2. You put heavy rounds in a light gun that does not fit you….

  3. Just firing a gun with out having to concentrate on a target you might not have lent in to the gun….

Cracking little gun but don't go heavy on the load, they were not made to shoot 32gr loads. I inherited my fathers box lock ejector and it was suffering a bit of a headache from the homeloads he put through it, fixed now though. I will find a picture of it.

This is a early 70s model. Like brand new its been shot so little. FAO came round the other day and couldnt believe how tidy it was ! My dad told me a story years ago when he was out pigeon shooting the lever cracked his thumb nail it kicked so much. I shot 30g clear pigeon through it last year and my shoulder was killing after a afternoon roost shooting but I was knocking them down no problem ! I was thinking maybe 28g VIP ??
