WinchesterDave
My older brother is looking at buying a gun for his clay shooting. As he is a browning/Winchester fan (like my self) he has narrowed the choices down to the B725 or select energy sporting adjustable. Now obviously the browning is more expensive, but would you say it'd be worth spending the extra money to get the browning (which fit him nicely) or go for the Winchester which he said felt even nice. Any pro/cons on said guns would be appreciative. Thanks, Dave.
Guest topshot_2k
Nothing in it, down to which feels better for him. No complaints at all about any of my winchesters or brownings
Sx3 clay breaker
Has he thought about a miroku which is basically a browning
fabarm gamma boy
i would buy a winchester 101 grand european! they are a gun no longer built today but they are arguably the best handling o/u shot gun ever built! still held in high regard by many shooters! very good looking, very browning miroku style deep action! and to be honest as good as any gun built today if not better! you will pick up a beuty 101 grand european for the price of a new grd1 browning 525! that would be my choice! the new winchesters are a shaddow of the 101s! choose well Edited February 22, 2013 by fabarm gamma boy

However I shoot just as well with my new winchester as my 101 and Grand european.

fabarm gamma boy
i think my next gun will be a 101 grand european i shot one last year and fell in love with it straight away! just felt right the balance was imop perfect! they hold money well but akso any of the winchesters from that time were extremely good guns

Steveco36
Browning for me, although Winchesters are great, I use a winchester supreme from time to time but best idea is have a go with a few and see which feels the best, definitely try miroku's too, personally speaking the mk70 miroku is a great piece of kit

WinchesterDave
Thanks for the Input guys! I must say I did like the 725 when I held it at the shooting show, but I also liked the Winchester. However as it's going to be my brothers gun I think it could end up being the select energy as it fit him nicer.
