Munzy
This situation is a joke, gutted for you.As for anything in the pipeline, I know the comment is vague but don't become the victim in any future legal proceedings by posting things like this. This exact thing came up on a car forum I belonged to and six months after an "incident" some street justice was given out. Long story short, the original victim knocked out the guy who had gotten away with vandalising his work van. What should have been a caution for anti-social behaviour on his part turned into a GBH with intent type charge because he posted on a public forum how he was going to get his own back.Just looking out for your interests mate. I hope this scum bag receives a dose of karma but look out for yourself. Wish him well, tell us that you have forgiven and forgotten him and say no more.... and don't follow that with any winking smileys!!!...of course, should this guy's kneecaps become dislodged in a freak accident next year it is in the public interest that you let us know! Twistedsanity
A good friend of ours works for a charity as a housing officer and his job is to house and rehome ex offenders who have mental health issues , if you spent an hour chatting to him you would be gobsmacked at the amount of complete loonies walking the streets and living nearby to you , if they are capable of assaulting and even murdering their own families with weapons they would have no qualms about dishing out their own " summary justice" on you and yours for whatever reason they have in their head at that moment , some of the cases and clients he has dealt with I wouldn't even dream of repeating on a public forum but these people are alive , unwell and living near you so as much as we all don't like to back down I would urge you all to think very carefully before making any decisions about reacting to people

djgeoff
well its made the papers and what a load of tosh the reporter has most of it completely wrong . mr titmus did swing chain at me he did threaten me and my nieghbour, what happened to the the other counts of damage, assaulting police officer and the list of other offenses he was charged with. car was not outside his house. they make him out to be good honest citizen in the quote 'when the police arrived he had gone out' oh come on he legged it! they make sound as though he nipped out for a packet of cigs lol. anyway here is the link read for yourself its laughable if you compare with the correct events from my very 1st post. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-man-damaged-car-parked-6230130 law is pathetic over on over. funnily enough this subject of ccps letting victims was on radio today as a phone in so like many i phoned in and there were loads of victims that were left out of pocket, left to sort for themselves through small claims etc. soft touch this country anyway that's my rant over, solicitor tomorrow for free hr for advise re small claims, false reporting, and the lies given by mr titmus

Sprackles
After reading that he got off with it because the Judge perceived his actions to be as a result of his mental illness......... I despair
