Left the ground at around 4:30pm and finally walked in the door at 7:45pm. Should have taken me 1hr 40mins.

M25 was a ****e and so was the M4. Did 9 miles in 40 mins on the M4.

Anyhow, great day out with you guys, must do it again sometime soon.

Nick, thanks for the organising again.

LB, don't give Sid too much grief that you beat him by one clay, He is getting on remember!

Look forward to seeing the final scores for the competition. Everyone shot well throughout the day on our team.

Cheers,

Rob.

OK chaps here are the results from the 'A' team in descending order.

1. Mungler 81/100

2. AP Build 76/100

3. Martin Cavie 71/100

4. LB 56/100

5. Sidney 55/100

6. Suffolk Shooter 53/100

All cards were checked by the team and no cheating occured.

I spoke to the trapper for the 'B' team who informed me that several of the team offered various bribes. Shame on them.

I am currently in dispute with Panasonic regarding the downloading of still and video images. Watch this space.

Just a quick thanks to nick for organising, top day, top people, top ground

SS and I made it door to door in 1h20 which surprised the hell out of me

Completely mixed bag on the shooting for me today but I don't care, fantastic fun and a great day!

All I know LB is that my solicitor is primed and ready for the slanderous editing that will probably occur from your dodgy "Cook Report" style video. :yp: :(

What can I say, great day, great craic, great weather, some good shots and some poor shots.

LB I noted that there was no mention of my 19ex20 on the driven in the morning or Sid's straight (How the hell did LB beat us Sid????). We should have taken the scores from the moring  Come to that there is no mention of my outrageous shooting of that diabolical crosser with Martins tyre iron, oops I mean side by side  I have the red cheek and bruised shoulder to prove it.

Seriously though, the whole six hour round trip was worth it, well done to Mungler, APBuild and Martin Cavie, there was some great shooting lads and only minor lapses made the 90 odd ex 100 fade.

The one thing I couldn't work out though, was what the hell was that Right/Left crosser (D) on the Compact sporting all about, put that with the C bird as sim pair on the last stand and it was unshootable for either. Methinks I'll have to take lessons from Mungler and do a tour of the South Shooting grounds in prep for next years visit. :D:lol:

Unfortunetly Suffolk I haven't got hold of the evidence for the compact :yp: But we know you done well

LB

To be honest LB, I for one am glad there is no evidence of the compact or the skeet (How much for the original of that  )

I must admit that trying your butt pad taught me one thing..........................

And that's not to buy one

A little bird told me today that the "A" team are now highly proficient at killing low flying dustbin lids and dinner plates  :yp:

where as the mighty "B"s finely honed their skills on outrageously demanding birds of the highest calibre :( :D

plus the "B"s weren't light weights and packed up just because it was getting dark, Gen 11 pah who needs em!!:lol:

and stealth stalker you fell into my trap, i thrive on pity and sympathy so deliberately posted such a poor score on the Compac so as to take advantage of the kind words of encouragement from my fellow team mates

I seem to remember that we were the last off the range, meeting you near the carpark, and also that we were shooting skeet in near dark conditions againest a background of trees and bushes, whilst you were all down on the Patterning plate, checking that infact you had bought cartridges with shot in after your rather dismal efforts throughout the day (The A's all thought you were anti's in disguise taking pity on those poor little clay target creatures flying around) :D:lol::lol::lol: :(

Glad to see you all had a good day, weather was ideal and the Crack was there also..

My thoughts were with you all today and of course Paul. R.I.P

I don't believe LB shot a 56---- must of been using a shottie in each hand.

:yp: :( :D

A fantastic day all round. Even the sausages in the cooked breakfast came up to muster.

Especially well done Nick for organising it - good man.

I would also like to thank a dozen or so professional shooting instructors, twenty odd shooting grounds within the M25 area and "the Force" for helping me put in a good score.
