MUNTJAC BUCK

Was getting late & I thought nothing was coming into the call. I'd just about gave up as there wasn't going to be much light left & when shooting into dence undergrowth it reduces the time even more. Then i clocked this Buck picking at some ivy. The only shot on was a head shot, which you have to take every so often. He didn't seem to care about the sqeeking that i had been doing & was just going about his feeding. About 35 yards didn't feel a thing. The other side of the Bucks head was in a bit of a mess so no picture of that. But got him on the Button. Now to enjoy the feast.

Hi edd

I use my Tikka T3 lam/stain .243 with T8 mod & Simmons 6.5-20x50 whitetail classic scope. With B&Q shooting sticks :good:

I have the same scopes on all my Rifles as i can pick up these simmons from a contact in the states for £104.00 posted, beating anything in its price range hands down.

Very nice shot placement :drinks:

Any chance of a nice fresh steak sent in the post? :o

I take it you don't know much about Muntjac, They are from Asia & are fully clued up on little Yellow Men leaping out of bushes with big knifes :ernyha: so 35 yards is about as close as you can get ;)

Send me your Address & i will wipe some of the sauce up off the plate after i've finnished so you can suck on it, thats the best i can do.

Thanks for the P, wrapped in Bacon & roasted with some small Onions. Went down a treat with swed?carrot Mash & a bottle of Red. I'll sort a bit of Monkey out for you.

As for the weather its great having the heavy frost knocking back the undergrowth. Tuesday or Friday Mornings or any time over the weekend is good for Me & the Ferrets just drop Me a line :ernyha:
