BSA-airgunner
I have now experienced one of those moments in life that by my guidance and moulding and time spent with my son that he has by himself managed his first kill...odd I know but for me there is pride not just for me but I know he is over the moon as he has been trying very hard at clays both skeet and sporting .. every thing was perfect and a cracking shot at 30 yards ....dead in the air..the sharp eyed will see the breach closed I asure you the gun is empty and just about to go into the slip.. steve_b_wales
The smile says it all. Well done to your son. I remember, many years ago, when my son, aged around 12, shot a hare that both myself and my mate missed. When he came out of the woods, the look on his face was priceless. Sadly I lost him 10 years ago as a result of a car accident, but that 'look' together with many 100's more, will remain with me for all time. My condolences to you Steve I know how you feel - I also lost my 18 year old daughter Carole in a car accident 23 years ago, she used to go everywhere with me, shooting, ferreting and lamping. Unlike my son who had no interest.
