Evening all I'm wondering if anyone has used foam pigeons on a rotary like these in the picture,

They are 8.00 each, I just wanted to no if they gathered interest and brought them in so to speak before I buy any , or has anyone got any views on the best "man made" decoys to use before you have 2 shot pigeons to put on , please don't say freeze 2 every time you go out been seen done got shouted at especially when I put them at the side of the kids diary milks :)

what i done was 2 full body pigeons, buy 2 sets of wings and tail from the bay, cut a slit in the sides and put the wing in slit in the back of decoys. put the tail in put tipex on the wings, works very well

I did the same but added a "V" splitter from the rear which I attached with cable ties through the body and drilled a hole in the backside to take the rod of the rotary. Works well and can double as a bouncer if you don,t wish to use the rotary.

I have two of these from Paul at Pigeon Shooter, work well on the rotary, as they are very light. Last weekend was too windy for the rotary, it was blowing over, so I used the arms with the foam pigeons on, and pushed them into the soil at a low angle, one near the front of each group of decoys, to act as 'bouncers', and the pigeons came in well to them. I had 6 wobbly shells, 9 full-bodied and the two foam. Only complaint with the foam ones was that the double-sided sticky tape underneath is weak and let go. I've had to reinforce it with grey duct tape. Also used cable ties to secure to arms.
