Clay shell - Hull Comp X or Hull Super Fast

I bought some more a short while ago and this batch do indeed throw confetti. They were made in February 2013. The thousands I bought last year didn't do this. It hasn't made a jot of difference to the effectiveness of the cartridges though.

I used CompX previously for clays and they also threw confetti from time to time and again it was apparent that this also varied from one batch to another.

I personally rate the Superfasts for clays as value for money but everyone has their favourites. If it's just the paper out the end of the barrel that bothers you I suggest you stick with them if they have suited you till now as it is only a case of what it looks like and is not anything detrimental as far as what they do to the clays!

op are you using fibres or plastic? sounds like fibres to me! most fibres seem to be a bit like confetti, just some are worse than others, i didnt find the superfast fibres too bad actually

Me too - quite respectable scores. Best cart I've tried for clays - I'm not an addict though !

Dude, I have been using Comp X's for a short while and I must say there are top notch for the money. I've been going through the brands trying to find "My Cart" and I have now settled on these.

In fact, I just got High Gun at my local shoot ( Bristol Clayshooting ) using Comp X's. Not an amazing score ( 42 out of 50 ) But old Neil does put a challenging course together........and I am shooting English Sporting with a

Side by Side Hammer Gun that has fixed chokes : Full & Full !!!

There cheap so all for one ... + good practice using the same set up for clays as well as in the field ..

Unfortunately also against the CPSA rules and may cause issues for the grounds you shoot at where 28g of 7.5 are the largest allowed loads.....
