al4x
Just popped out to have a sit for foxes as the Missus has gone baby sitting, walking down the first hedge towards the seat I clocked this old warrior at the end of the hedge. Dropped down and watched and worked out he was one of the best I've seen on our ground and pretty skinny so thought why not if the shot was on and in the end he just walked in to 40 yards before winding us and turning broadside and it was job done. So how big do they need to be to bother getting measured?
kennett
I shot one last winter that looks about the same size as yours, one of the stalkers at work was very impressed and reckoned it could have been a bronze, so it might be worth getting yours measured! scolopax
A taxidermist told our deer group meeting last week that if you can get your fist between the span of the antlers and also each antler protrudes from the top of a clenched fist then it is worth getting measured. al4x
Interesting he might be just too small its about 11cm between the span and they are about the same in length so close but I think probably not quite, he is a memorable buck though simply due to how cocky he was acting and how he just marched up to us. bakerboy
If you are going to Highclere this week end you could may be get it measured there, especially if BASC have a stand.
