I think that this must be a case of mistaken identity.

I thought you had been quite JDog.

A fleeting glimpse is about all I am seeing still too , had a text from a farmer yesterday saying there were lots on his peas , had a look today and not even one there !

They are still in flocks and come and go in a instant.

They are on the peas in Norfolk but I cant get any permission to shoot the little booggers, my permission is all wheat, barley and sugar beet and not a pigeon in sight, found a few yesterday on a flight line but stick out a decoy and you can wait all day , they wont come in.:no:

This is effecting my home life, I have two days off and the wife has said "You may as well paint the kitchen seeing you have nothing to shoot"

I need to get out......she knows more about how many pigeons we have than I do.

Pass the brush pet  even Rolf Harris is doing less painting than me at the moment. :whistling:

Just reading the paint tin, "For best results, put on two coats." the sweat will be pouring off me only have a parker & my shooting jacket.

They are still eating the rape corners here, I saw about 20 on the peas yesterday but nothing today. I went for a cycle today and they where still feeding on the rape at 20:30!

Nothing up this way either :/ I've had to resort to decoying the black stuff, but even that's gone quiet ! So I'm now out every evening with my .22LR Bashing a few bunnies and stocking the freezer up for the ferrets.

All we have growing now is Oats and the spud fields are starting to show since the rape went awol and he ploughed all 2500 acres over :sad1:
