Frenchieboy
I have a personalised leather sling that was made for me for a birthday present. When new it used to slip terribly around on my shoulder quite a lot but after cutting and gluing a strip of neoprene to the back of it the bulk of the problem was cured. It still slips a little but I have stopped this now by holding the pistol grip of the rifle with my hand while walking about. This has the added benefit of me knowing that the muzzle of my rifle is always pointing directly skywards when walking, expecially when I am in company as an added safety factor! Dekers
can anyone recommend a rifle sling that is comfortable, doesnt slide off your shoulder and probably adjustable.I have had neoprene, canvas, webbing, alleged non slip ones, and stretchy ones all of which have been either uncomfortable or slip off my shoulder, the only ones i havent had are leather, any help appreciated How about this? I have 2 left in stock, and the price is going up a lot when I get the new ones, non slip shoulder insert (shown), comfortable, quick release and easily adjustable, and complete with 2 studs. £26 posted to UK mainland! £40 Plus normal price. Scully
Some interesting options there;have been on the lookout for a new sling for my auto.Rifle isn't a problem as I always carry them muzzle down with the sling around my neck, which I find very comfortable, but auto sling is too short to do this and pistol grip sticks in my back when doing my rounds with feeders etc.

Salop Matt
The best slings ive had have been wide to spread the weight across the shoulder and have been leather ! ATB Matt
telf
i find the wider they are the more easily they slip off my shoulder,so have ordered the quake contour ones which arent as wide as the originals atb dave
