al4x
what stops it moving with those points at the bottom surely it can pivot away from you?
Dougy
A quick look and i was thinking the same, maybe a hook/ bar type fixing that connects to the 2 pillars and hangs over the open window to prevent the rest from moving forward. That could put a crease in the door. I have been trying to knock one up from an old walking frame, hooked over the door type, the idea of the suction cups keeps cropping up, i think i will have a look in machine mart theyhave some in there for use on glass or something. Thanks for the idea . Davyo
Sorted i,ve just made one after legging it to Screw fix, and sorted the regidiity. ALL CREDIT GOES TO BSA AIRGUNNER for the idea, i just thought i,d post to show how easy a build this is,thanks again BSA AIRGUNNER. the additional bar across the bottom means it is totally rigid. Dougy
Just knocked this up this afternoon. It gives me a more robust rest rest by extra support, but could not have done it without the tip/idea from you to start with. It was a walking frame for the disabled.---------------------------------they got better. Its adjustable too so you can raise the rest and also reduce the gap between the inner pads and the exterior.Thanks. Thats better you can see now Edited July 2, 2013 by Dougy
