Poacher
guide dogs are trained to take blind people safely around towns stopping at traffic light etc My question is this: when a blind person wants to go to the post office how the hell does the dog know where to go and further more if a blind person changed their mind and wanted to go to the supermarket how will he tell the dog

webber
My dad has been blind for about 10 years. 2 years ago we went on a mediterenean cruise. I guess that I was the only person on the ship to have guided tour of Barcelona, and Naples from a blind man. He seems to have a marvelous photographic memory. Dad loves fishing, and as he was a brilliant design engineer, has concocted several gadgets to ease various tasks which seem so easy when you are sighted. Sadly, this week I was advised that I am showing early symptoms of the disease that took my fathers sight. I intend to shoot for as long as possible. webber

A great cause, one worthy of any donations . i hope your concience plays up and your wallet lightens Poacher . Martin
