eccles
Rung my mate Phil last night said i'd seen crows on his fields, said i'd shoot middle field so move that bloody bull and bullocks off it. He laughed said they where safe but said he'd move to field behind and shoot them with black beaks carrions Got there this morning about 6.30 early for me. few crows on the 4 cut fields. Stuck up the hide by the big tree far end left of pic 2 . They came in very slow over a few hours only had 1 pair all the rest where in singles.Lot of crows where dropping into the other 3 fields. Then the cows and calf's kept coming for a look, sent them packing about 4 times then gave up and called it a day. Picked up 40 36 carrion 2 rooks and 2 jacks + 5 carrions behind with bull 2 stuck in tree.so 47 in total 51 shots Other pics are of field and view from hide. Quite a few rabbits on them fields first thing. pic 2 Edited July 18, 2013 by eccles

Cows and calf's are no problem as long you ain't got a dog. Pic 2 is the other photo. Edited July 18, 2013 by eccles

caeser
Nosey devils those bullocks. I've had to chase them away from my deeks several times in the past. I even had a stand off with a macho bullock once. Much to the amusement of my shooting partner at the time.

I like the way you put Boring Day On The Crows. I would love to have that sort of boring day shooting crows lol. I'm lucky to shoot a quarter of that number in a few months down this way on my local permissions.. Still good shooting mate fair play to you. Won't be long getting my Huntsman Regal now, so I can start sorting the ever increasing numbers of black corvid menace in my old mans back garden. Certainly got the numbers for a good bag of Jackdaws an magpies, , but unfortunately not the right tool for the job as of yet. The Ghost
Excellent shooting again Terry and very nice for us Fenland shooters to see a picture of a hill. We just found a big dung heap on one of our permissions, it was full of early morning crows...could be a good days shooting once we clear the hundreds of rabbit. Always nice to see a good bag...keep up the good work....more pictures of hills and cows please
