i got a spay with me last night not sure if it was a brand but my god was it poo.. im one of these people that get bit all the time last night alone i had 5 mozzie bites and a ******* horse fly got me again im only just getting over the last golf ball bite.....

 

i need a good one pronto

Have you tried not rubbing the skin so soft in. I have found it works better if you spray it on and leave it.

That's what I do - it gives a better barrier, I went out shooting rabbits last night in short sleeves and was not bitten once, plenty of nettle stings on my legs though!

That's how I used to use it. Skin so soft was great but this year for some reason it hasn't worked a jot

 

Oil of lemongrass and citronella in almond oil carrier.... Works every time fr me

Where would I come by that stuff is it a chemist job or supermarket? Quite like tryin out the home made stuff Edited by MBW

get on the bushcraft uk site and buy some simply smidge its all natural ingredients and works a treat i am also testing the tick and horsefly repellant ,went out the other night stalking my buddy had 4 ticks i went out without gaitors just a set of combats and shirt and came back tick and bite free i got one mossy bite on my thumb were i must have mist abit but not bad as were we where was heaving with bugs, atb wayne
