Hi all it's d day tommorow for my landy it's been stood 8 years and was given to me by a farmer it's a 1985 110!pick its had new timing belt kit crossmember bumper drivers side floor a good clean and undersealed and is in for test tommorow hopefully it passes I past my test in June so I need a motor to get to work its only got 101 thou on it with a 2.5 na so ill keep you all posted and out a couple of pics up

Haha I'm mechanic,y minded anyway but I think it'll keep me on my toes already got tools in it what engines in yours matt is it a 110 ?? Engine runs ok but hopefully be putting a 200 tdi in when I can get one I've also put and tank in the bed because mine was rotten and didn't have the spare cash to get one

nah mines a series 3 109, 2.25 derv, engine is a little broken at the moment, rebuilt half of it but it still smokes way too much. Might be getting a 200tdi 90 soon tho!

what happened Big Mat did you rebuild the wrong half. joking aside, any ideas why it is still smoking, did you rebore and new pistons, or do a head job

Just did top end, pistols seemed to be alrite, recon injectors and recon pump, seems to be something to do with timing, done timing on chain then moved up to pump timing but just cannot get it right. Runs clear at tickover but lots of grey when under load. Its not burning oil or using water. Might have to tear it all apart and start again
