Dunkield
I used to do this years ago and people would often ask what it was all about, the assumption was it was driving up muddy tracks. Just been sent this video from a meeting earlier this month, which really shows what it is all about, and the wide variety of cars that get entered. You need it up loud to get the best effect https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Kv-ymMC3HpQ

Yes kids ruin everything don't they I did the ACSMC Championship for 3 seasons in a Lotus 7 that was *cough* the back end of the eighties Still I have a few horrible plastic 'trophies' in the loft for my efforts. Like you I do miss it, I did rent a Caterham for a day which I thought would get it out of my system, but if anything it made it worse :(

Twistedsanity
I went to the Prescott hillclimb a few months back , my first look at the sport and had a brilliant time after years of drag racing . The was such a diverse field of cars and the venue was extremely well set out although I suspect being the home of the Bugatti owners club had something to do with that
Dunkield
Prescott is indeed a first class venue, I try and get along there once a season, but haven't managed it this year. stokie
Loton park is a fantastic circuit . Just a shame there is always lots of dangerous places to have an off . I once watched a single seater with a stuck open throttle go over a 15 foot drop because he thought he would be safer cutting the corner onto the grass . Surprisingly when he hit the deck it freed off .
