simon6ppc
hi guys today me fenntiger and stubble rash all went pigeon shooting to a farm i have shot for years,to be honest it was a quiet day, we had 3 in the hide which was a laugh so the banter was good with one or two shots they kept missing, sorry guys but i never write lies on here, the farm i shoot at this time of year always gets canadas feeding on the stubble so we took some 3 inch mammoth steel just in case, just as i thought later on in the day we herd the geese flying towards the field as they do every year to feed,as soon as my fellow companions see this type of bird they instantly cant help but honk, hiss or quack the noise they make in order to try and call them, but they were coming to the field any way so i just kept quiet as i always do waiting for a shot,we shot three which was a good start to the season, so a good day with plenty of banter and we ended up with 45 birds all together including the geese, cheers simon....ps driller come back all is forgiven.... JDog
Good banter amongst friends is almost as important as the shooting. I can only imagine the ribbing in the hide when one of you missed.
