tedster
I've never had a problem with mine, it's cycled everything I've put through it, novice shooters have loved it for its light and easy handling.

mossberg-operator
I got an older mossy oak one. Works fine, but gets very dirty on magazine tube. Plastic stock is to short fir me, so carved wooden extension of 1 inch between pad and stock. Now is good. Malfunctions are rare and i clean it after every use. (2000 cartridges so far). Osteve123
Hi guys, Thanks for all your help...a hot topic! I'm definatly going to get one, so appreciate all of your help...so mossy oak or black? 24,26 or 28??? Shops only seem to have the 28 in stock...yet everyone is talking about the 24/26...mainly going to be used in the hide...so what do we think? bostonmick
all makes of guns come in for a slating on here at times from Baikal to purdey but when there are as many bad reports as hatsan have had over the past few years you would be foolish to ignore it,they do have issues and in the main more than any other guns so as they say buyer beware, there are a lot of good quality reliable guns out there for sale especially in semi auto. mossberg-operator
Bostonmick! What good semi auto? Can You name some, pls?
-Mongrel-
Hatsans are fine. I say this as an owner. However, you do get what you pay for and on earlier models, cleaning is where its at. Dirty Hatsans don't cycle so well. Keep the ports clean, use 28g or more, they're fine in my experience. Bostonmick! What good semi auto? Can You name some, pls? trouble free? Benelli SBE! I wish I had the spare cash! Lord O War
I love my Hatsan semi. I put 125ish shells through it last Sunday and not a single problem. Probably only hit about 50% but thats more to do with the noob shooter than the gun.
