utectok
Coming of keir roundabout onto m9 lost backend of truck spun 180 and hit curb dumped it on its side??? !! It sort of gathered steering wise I knew the tracking was out and had a new set of tyres already ordered at the garage but didn't think it was dangerous?! All slow speed stuff so busted tyre mangled a bit but righted replaced tyre and drove police said best get it towed to garage (cost £200) but hey oh best be safe. Garage sorted tracking and got the worst of the dents out all good loads of character now but otherwise back on the road all sorted! God bless the hylux rolled and rolling! four-wheel-drive
It looks like it will be a keeper unless you plan to get all of the dents removed I would just keep it till it dies but then this is my idea of a nice looking car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAL4l5W0Xms&list=FLepn2cx8oNRbIiM6dggNfzA&index=9 Edited October 19, 2013 by four-wheel-drive

al4x
You haven't got Bridgestone duellers on it have you? I always hear how tail happy pickups are but mine have never been an issue other than when on duellers

I went round there about 40ish last night (torrential rain) & when I booted it back on to the m/way (southbound) I had a big drift (there must have been fuel spilt :( ) but I am used to drifting round there in my truck ps. good to see you are OK Edited October 20, 2013 by Tam
utectok
Hi tam that's really interesting exactly the same southbound just as your moving onto the dual carriageway! Yeah also duellers are death traps on my truck I had a set of At grabbers. Got two new ones on the front at2 grabbers the at grabbers on the rear seem ok bout 3 mm till the markers but might replace them anyway! Of course police checked the tyres and all were fine but I knew that Cheers guys Will Edited October 20, 2013 by utectok
thepasty
The back on on my hliux can be a bit "keen" on the back end if you get your boot down too early on a slippy road. Edited October 20, 2013 by thepasty
