shaun4860
I did this, Sold my .22, but did a one for one variation meaning I now have an empty slot, I still have 500 Winchester subs which I'm allowed to keep as it says so on my licence, Don't know where you stand if you don't have a slot for the calibre of bullets on your licence, When you sell the gun you have to send your licence in, so when it came/comes back it will show you if you're allowed the bullets or not. You could do a 1-1 it's free and would allow you to keep the bullets till you decide what to do with them
saddler
If you request a one-for-one for a gun if the same caliber as the one you sold...then all well and good. Otherwise...you won't have permission to possess ammunition of that calibre...so will be in breach of the firearms act.

al4x
its fine as you still have the permission to hold ammo on your ticket until you renew when you will need to mention it. If you re open the slot to aquire the rifle then no problem at all
