activeviii
I have been collared into making a couple of priests for a couple of ladies. NJC plucked up as well and asked for one. I have had to buy antler and buffalo. will need some leather lace from somewhere to. this is where im at so far. top one will be Neils just cut on the bandsaw and then on the sander to make sure ends are flat to take the end cap. These will be lead free. 12mm threaded brass bar. the one end had a slot cut into it as a glue area for the end cap and the other end has m6 bolt cut to fit. glue up and drying. top it in the raw, middle is ruff sanded and the bottom is first polish. takes a bit of work sanding and polishing the buffalo to get a nice shape without flat spots of sanding marks. Still a little more sanding and polishing but almost there. I have to make the toggles and find some leather lace., bit more polishing. all the best Phil. Thunderbird
The OP is a real craftsman, that's for sure but he's too modest to say. I've been to his man-cave. It's pretty awesome.

I have not been able to finish. i have drilled and trimmed a few 222 cases for the leather to pass though but i haven't have the thong until this morning. i did buy some off ebay but it was so stiff it was as if the black had been sprayed on with car paint. Thanks kindly for the offer, very good of you.

activeviii
someone has asked me if i would make them one, the deal they want is they send me a pair of spikers, i make them a priest from one and keep the other. After the time i have spent one these 3 i think i will not be doing this deal again. I have a few sticks i have made with roe toppers but i have a fallow antler that was my first buck. it was a broken head and a cull beast but i think i have it right for a new walking stick. I spend far to much time making things for others.lmao.

I have left some one the battle scars in the antler, i could have polished then out but thought better of it. Only one finished as i wasn't happy with the other two so started again.
