woodcock1
I had another chance at the weekend to try for a few woodcock, so I bright the camera along to try capture some of the action. Sport turned out very good and I caught all but one of the shots on film. Hope you enjoy as quality isn't perfect and the inclement weather didn't help.http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hKXNIvRmAU0

woodcock1
Cheers. I depend on the black and white springer as the other is not much use and will be looking for a new address soon. Gun choked 1/4.
NickersonBen
What sort of money are the GoPro Cameras, if you dont mind me asking?! Also, i presume the camera is on your forehead? What do you use to keep it there?! Is it like a headtorch set up? Ben
woodcock1
It is exactly like a head torch. Elastic strap round your head and one over the top. I bought this one second hand for £150 but it is a very basic model and not just the best quality.

woodcock1
This video was taken in County Derry/londonderry with a gopro hero 960. That would be about the average number of birds I flush in a day but it just all came together at the weekend. A high portion usually get away without chance of a shot and then the odd miss doesn't help. First day I have ever shot that many without missing any. SuperGoose75
They seem to have done the job nicely. I was using a special woodcock load a few yrs back that contained different shot sizes that I found very good. I think they where RC'S.
