If you are a novice "Will's pigeon shooting" by Will Garfitt is worth a read though I found it to be a little bit "on how to suck eggs"

ok thanks I say novice as I have done it before with mates didn't own any gear back then as centerfire foxing is my main forte

but now got my own pigeon gear and miss a lot more than I hit so hence [novice]lol I know books wont make me a better shot but I like to read in hope of gleaning info and techniques so I will give mr garfitts book a go also many thanks

There is a good book coming out by a chap known by the name of PC who wears a mask of Zorro to hide his identity and also to disguise himself just in case his wife looks on the forum and sees that he has been shooting when he said he was going to work.

I have seen a proof of this book which tells of how observation, fieldcraft, knowledge of the area etc all form part of a succesful foray into the field. There are photographs to back up the stories on a weekly basis. There are useful contributions from simon6ppc, motty, pickerup, aga man, remmyman, fenboy and bunnage (not) and less than useful hints and tips from JDog.

Very good value at £99: 99 I would say.
