sharp shot
I am looking for a scope for my Anschutz .17 hmr rifle. I am wanting to spend around £150, could anyone recommend which would be the best suited scope for this rifle. Many Thanks Sharp Shot..... iain
At that price second hand is your best bet. Look round on the forums or the dreaded evil bay. Don't bother with the cheap as chips Chinese stuff. Seen a few edgar bros opti mates for around that.

Oly
With any rimmy I recommend a ballistic reticuled Hawke - the drop charts and distance estimaters of the SR6 reticule are perfect for rimmys IMHO.

DaveK
For that money you could pick up a decent air rifle scope. Simmons WTC works well (her indoors used one for years on hers) as do BSA Contender and Tasco World Class. Hawks do a good job as already noted. MTC range is also worth a look. In the end it's down to which scope feels right for you rather than you have to get XXX scope and get used to it.

kent
I just sold a 3-9x 40 Leupold on here for that. You have to be quick but scopes like that are not only good they hold your money if you wish to swap in future years.
