Paul T
I'm not surprised - my bantams are still laying eggs, which I've never known before.

Dekers
Despite the daft weather we have had it has been unseasonally mild, and I get the impression many rabbits can well be at it all year these days. Just the same I can't remember any young quite this early in the year round here historically!
r1steele
I remember getting young rabbits as far back as the 80's at this time of year when out ferreting. Never usually seen them on the surface at this time of year but definitely had them below ground.
telf
I posted a similar thread on here about 2or3 weeks ago as a couple of rabbits I had shot when out at night were found to be carrying young which was december
norfolk dumpling
Wife and I followed a leverette or a very small hare for 100yds down a narrow lane last night. At first tried to run it over thinking a rabbit but then noticed it was a hare. Breeding very late last year or under grown?? It did get a wriggle on as I got closer so looked healthy.
