So does my wife as i have just decided to trade in and get the new 2007 version which has a slightly more powerful engine.

On the downside of these, my insurance is 1100 per year and i have a 500 excess.

Last year some **** at the Ace Cafe charity run put a big split in one side of my front cowl panel.

Cost 1400 to replace so hence the high premium.

Cheers

Started riding when I was 16 on a Fizzy!

Then bought a GSX250T when they first came out. Nice litttle bike with 'twin swirl combustion chambers'! Passed my test on that, but it came to an untimely end.

After that I had a Kawasaki KZ550. Had it 18 months - it went through 2 steering heads sets, front wheel bearings, and a complete exhaust system. I got rid of that one.

Then for years I had a GS 850G - loved the shaft.

My current mount is a '98 VFR800 that's now got about 60,000 miles on the clock. My daughter's been going on the back for about 5 years now - she's nearly 13. She's cost me a small fortune in gear, but it's all worth it.

Yep they can but at a real price. Red Dog Motorcycles the dealer i use in Burgess Hill don't recommend it.

They reckon that it can really muck up the exhaust settings even if a new aftermarket pipe set is added and set up on the dyno.

But hey who wants it, they fly anyway.

Cheers

Had a Suzuki DRZ 400E,was persuaded to take up quad racing,Honda trx 400..till some *** knicked it.Not to be beaten got a new TRX 450R wide axles racing exhaust the lot. Then i found i don,t bounce like i used to ....1 very snapped collar bone, but at least i managed to drag 8 weeks off work on full pay...lot of shooting, left handed though. Now back to a DRZ but only the s version...miss the bottom end torque of the E so upgrade on the cards.

Red , did the Ring last year - awesome, but bloody scary

Me and my Bruv, (another Blade), are probably going back this year.

Now we know exactly how to get there, we reckon its virtually do-able in less than 3 hours.

The other big bonus is that the roads are incredible in Germany, (rubbish in Belgium), and they love fast bikes/cars and get out your way. A top place :good:

Oh, the beers not bad either
