Duffryn
My first test flight with pheasant cam , it will take a bit of practice but I think this might work ? I've dubbed in some shooting background noises to help the imagination ! Edited January 19, 2014 by Duffryn

Kes
Why would and where would a pheasant fly over an iron age fort with a double ditch - looks good but expensive on cameras. Worth a bit of detecting though. ATB Kes
figgy
I think phill ditched his on purpose to have a excuse to get the hero 3+ and a new flying platform. Did he fly it over his mrs saying its ok love just shoot at it like its a pheasant its all for affect never expecting her to middle it that would be something I'd do with my mrs, thinking she can't hit a barn door untill it's something you like or value then they never miss Figgy Edited January 19, 2014 by figgy

Worth a bit of detecting though. ATB Very observant ! Part iron age fort and part 15th century manor house gardens - amazing what they achieved back then by hand. With the threat of guns and birds of prey I'm going to be lucky to get a drive out of pheasant cam. The Mrs thinks I am crazy and cannot wait for this to fail. Cranfield
However you end up using it, the completely different perspective is very interesting and quite spectacular. I think your main problem is going to be how to operate it effectively and take part in the shooting. You may need a Cameraman, Lighting Team, you can be Producer and Director, Make-Up lady for Rob, the list could go on and on. I can also imagine your wife saying (again), "how much did you say this costs ?"

Cranfield
What's the point in it?? How about filming a driven Shoot from the pheasants view, getting pictures of birds going over the guns, or just a totally different perspective on filming shooting situations. All sounds very interesting to me and quite a few others, can't wait to see it in practice.

Your right there is a real danger of this costing me some shooting and the video taking over the day so I think that it will only be used a couple of times just to see what it looks like from the pheasants perspective. Luckily I've got lots of other uses for the camera outside of shooting Edited January 20, 2014 by Duffryn
