garyb
Bad press Some ****** from a sink estate pulls out a weapon . Don't see how this reflects badly on the law abiding rifle and shotgun owners on here . all the best yis yp I agree Yp, but it will add more fuel to the "Ban guns / air guns" debate once more. A few idiots that are ruining it for the rest of us.
Graham M
The law states quite clearly that it is an offence to frighten anyone with a gun. Sooooooooo, they have the eejits photo, and they know he lives locally. Why don’t they arrest him and lock him up for the maximum term allowed for this offence. Or could it be that he isn’t a law-abiding firearms owner, so isn’t worth the effort. G.M.
il cacciatore
If that was someone with a table leg in a bin bag they would have had police marksmen all over the shop. It looks like a H&K to me though it isn't clear.
mossy835
again we will get hit for it,as long as there are kids like that we have no chance.how many guns are under ground out there.
Lord Geordie
MP5 possibly? Looks the right dimensions anyhow. I agree with earlier statements it's time the police did more to enforce the laws relating to such blatant misuse of firearms. LG
il cacciatore
If this was indeed a deact or replica then that will play right into the hands of the ban/license replica/deact lobby.
steve_k
yeah but the likelyhood is he is not old enough to be in prison any way! i have spent some time in that area and i have seen large groups of youths being arrested by the police and they are always left off with a warning
digger
why the hell would anyone need a full size replica of a semi - automatic ? or a pistol ? really dont see the justification of these things.
naddan28
yep looks to be a MP5K-PDW. So i very much doubt it is real but even so... :@ In fact the way he is holding it if he did open up with a real one would be shooting my sky than anything else! However either way it hardly helps promoting air rifles. Also some of you guys are assuming the public are intelligent rational individuals who will distinguish a 14 yr bb gun (i am guessing here) chav from a adult responisbly shooting an air rifle over 200 acres of farmland. Unfortunately, as much as it pains me to say it, i think not.
SNAKEBITE
why the hell would anyone need a full size replica of a semi - automatic ? or a pistol ? really dont see the justification of these things. I have to agree. As a 14 year old kid I was fascinated by the things, but now I am of the opinion that all they are good for is harming legitimate shooting. Gully
Some 17year old kid has been arrested and bailed for this already. It was a BB gun. Soft air? Loser.
