Used to use .22 but never got decent penetration. .177 accupels all the way now, devastating and more importantly 100% humane. Never hit that number alone though, two guns covers all the options! The "drainpipe" is a sun shade, works a treat when shooting into trees. Just reduces that annoying habit of being dazzled, even in the winter/spring months. Normally have one on my BSA but it wasn't too bright a day.
