Konnie
force of habit and instinct, I've shot pigeons on a field drilled with sugarbeet the day after drilling if they are in the close area it does not look unnatural to see their own on such fields
ditchman
if the pigeons start on ...call in sick............i had a mega day 30 odd years ago on a field that had been sown for a horse pasture...they would not leave it alone........ Cranfield
I have shot good numbers of pigeons on seeded grass fields, although it does depend on what else is available to them. At the moment I am finding more birds on clover than on rape.
pigeon controller
Grass seed can be a great draw and we have shot a good number on it in the past, keep watching .

superspark
Thats handy to know, last year I shot a lot of crows with a small amount of pigeon over corn stubble. Later that year it was grass seeded but when I tried decoying over it " nothing". No crow, pigeon or anything else.
