secret-squirrel
235 is your tyre width in mm . 70 is tyre hight in mm . And 15 is 15" alloy size . I don't think they will as the new tyre size is wider . I'm sure I will be put right if I'm wrong
robbiep
It depends on the wheel size - not the 15" diameter, but the wheel depth. Usually stamped on the back of the wheel in the hub area ... should be 15 x -- J .The number befoe the J is what is critical here.
Albert 888
Look on google for tyre size calculator. then you can compare sizes,if to wide you could use spacers.
al4x
Simple answer is very probably and they may not be much different in diameter to your existing tyres

FatherandSon
235 is your tyre width in mm . 70 is tyre hight in mm . And 15 is 15" alloy sizeNo its not!! 70 is the % of tyre width which makes up the height!! So if a tyre is 200/50/16, it will be 200mm wide, 100mm high and 16" rim!! Proudly
Tyre sizes and what they mean borrowed from another site.... 185 65 H R 13 185 :- This is the width in mm of the tyre from sidewall to sidewall when it's unstressed and you're looking at it head on (or top-down). This is known as the section width. 65 :- This is the ratio of the height of the tyre sidewall, (section height), expressed as a percentage of the width. It is known as the aspect ratio. In this case, 65% of 185mm is 120.25mm - the section height. H :- This is the speed rating of the tyre. R :- This tells you that the tyre is a radial construction. 13 :- This is the diameter in inches of the rim of the wheel that the tyre has been designed to fit on. 185 65 R 13 91 V 185 :- Section width 65 :- Aspect ratio R :- Radial 13 :- Rim diameter 91 :- load rating V :-speed rating. four-wheel-drive
The bigest size that I could get on my 1998 vitara was 215x75x15 and with that I had to take the front mud flaps off as they rubbed on full lock to go any larger than that you ether need to lift the body or have longer springs. are you shore that they are 80s as I would have thought that was a bit big but in answer to your question I think you can get 235x75x15s on but they will rub so they are not recomened without a 2" body lift this will give you some idea of sizes. http://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/4x4_tyre_size_tool.php?osCsid=pknv72epmakfte30j79tkcbkm4 also all you will ever need to now can be found here. http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?t=10956 Edited April 25, 2014 by four-wheel-drive
